If you filed your UCR through us last year, that registration covered that year only - UCR is an annual requirement. Every interstate carrier, broker, freight forwarder, and leasing company must renew each year, regardless of who handled the filing previously.

A few things to keep in mind for this year's renewal:

1. Check your fleet count. Fee brackets are based on vehicle numbers, so any changes to your fleet size since last year could affect what you owe.
2. Don't let the deadline slip. Missing it can result in fines or delays during compliance reviews and roadside inspections.
3. Returning clients move faster. Since your information is already on file with us, renewal typically takes less time than a first-time filing.
