If you filed your UCR through us last year, that registration covered that year only - UCR is an annual requirement. Every interstate carrier, broker, freight forwarder, and leasing company must renew each year, regardless of who handled the filing previously.
A few things to keep in mind for this year's renewal:
- Check your fleet count. Fee brackets are based on vehicle numbers, so any changes to your fleet size since last year could affect what you owe.
- Don't let the deadline slip. Missing it can result in fines or delays during compliance reviews and roadside inspections.
- Returning clients move faster. Since your information is already on file with us, renewal typically takes less time than a first-time filing.
